Mérida’s Electoral Board has ordered the PP ‘the cessation of the distribucion and sending of letters directed at social services users and those of sports schools’ that the PSOE had warned of last week. In the same way, it had opened expedient sanctioning.
The judicial decision considered an ‘electoral infraction’ the use, partly by PP, of databases from sports schools and the Town Hall services to send publicity on Pilar Vargas to the people.
‘This decision gives us futher account that the Town Hall is conducting the electoral campaign of the PP with public funds,’ expresses Ignacio Sánchez Amor, local secretary of Mérida’s PSOE.
The socialists also have presented their criticism of this matter in the Data Protection Agency.
